Terms & Conditions
By using EazyEvent, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — they define your rights and responsibilities on our platform.

Key points: EazyEvent is a marketplace that connects consumers with caterers. We are not a catering company. Consumers are responsible for their event details; caterers are responsible for food quality and service delivery.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the EazyEvent application or website (the "Platform"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and EazyEvent ("Company", "we", "us"). We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform.
- By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and current.
- Businesses registering as caterers must have the necessary licenses and permits required by Indian law to operate a catering business.
- One person may not create multiple accounts. We reserve the right to merge or terminate duplicate accounts.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
To access most features, you must create an account using a valid email address. You will verify ownership of this email via a one-time password (OTP) sent to that address.
3.2 Account Security
You are solely responsible for:
- Keeping your password confidential and using a strong, unique password.
- All activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you.
- Notifying us immediately at support@eazyevent.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3.3 Account Roles
The Platform has three user roles:
- Consumer: End users who browse caterers and book catering services for their events.
- Caterer: Businesses or individuals who list catering services on the Platform.
- Admin: EazyEvent staff who manage the Platform, verify caterers, and resolve disputes.
4. Caterer Obligations
By listing your services on EazyEvent, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your menus, pricing, service areas, and availability.
- Hold all required food safety, health, and business licenses applicable in your jurisdiction.
- Respond to booking requests within 24 hours.
- Honor confirmed bookings. Cancellations within 48 hours of the event may result in account penalties.
- Maintain food hygiene standards in accordance with FSSAI guidelines and other applicable Indian laws.
- Not engage in price gouging or discriminatory pricing.
- Not solicit consumers to transact outside the Platform to avoid service fees.
- Grant EazyEvent a non-exclusive license to display your menu photos and profile content on the Platform.
5. Consumer Obligations
As a consumer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate event details (date, venue, guest count, dietary requirements) when making a booking.
- Make payment through the Platform's designated payment methods only.
- Not abuse the review system with false, defamatory, or retaliatory reviews.
- Treat caterers and their staff with respect.
- Not cancel confirmed bookings frivolously. Repeated cancellations may result in account suspension.
- Complete the onboarding profile to enable personalized caterer recommendations.
6. Bookings and Payments
6.1 How Bookings Work
- Consumer submits a booking request specifying event details.
- Caterer reviews and accepts or declines within 24 hours.
- Upon acceptance, the booking is confirmed and payment is processed.
- Both parties receive confirmation via email and in-app notification.
6.2 Pricing
All prices displayed on caterer profiles are indicative. Final pricing is agreed upon between consumer and caterer at the time of booking confirmation. EazyEvent does not set or guarantee caterer pricing.
6.3 Service Fees
EazyEvent charges a platform service fee on transactions to maintain and improve the service. This fee is disclosed before booking confirmation.
6.4 Cancellation & Refunds
- Consumer cancellation >7 days before event: Full refund minus service fee.
- Consumer cancellation 3–7 days before event: 50% refund.
- Consumer cancellation <3 days before event: No refund.
- Caterer cancellation: Full refund to consumer. Repeated caterer cancellations may result in account suspension.
- Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.
7. Reviews and Ratings
- Only consumers who have completed a booking may leave a review for that caterer.
- Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on your actual experience.
- Prohibited: fake reviews, reviews containing personal attacks, hateful language, or unrelated content.
- EazyEvent reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines without notice.
- Caterers may not offer incentives in exchange for positive reviews.
8. Intellectual Property
- EazyEvent, its logo, app design, and all Platform content are owned by or licensed to the Company.
- You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of Platform content without written permission.
- You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, menu descriptions) but grant EazyEvent a worldwide, royalty-free license to display such content on the Platform.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Platform to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Impersonate another person or entity.
- Transmit spam, malware, or any harmful code.
- Scrape, crawl, or automatically collect data from the Platform.
- Circumvent security measures or attempt unauthorized access to our systems.
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory content.
- Engage in fraudulent transactions or chargebacks.
- Solicit other users to transact outside the Platform.
10. EazyEvent's Role and Liability
EazyEvent is a marketplace platform, not a catering company. We do not prepare, cook, or deliver food. Therefore:
- We are not liable for the quality, safety, legality, or fitness of food or services provided by caterers.
- We are not liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss arising from catering services.
- We are not responsible for disputes between consumers and caterers, though we may facilitate resolution at our discretion.
- Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant booking.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EazyEvent, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you post on the Platform.
12. Termination
EazyEvent may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we discontinue the service. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Before initiating legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes may be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
